The Wiz - Directed by Gary Hicks

On March 6th 2015, I went to watch the production of The Wiz, direct by Gary Hicks. The Wiz is roughly a young missy named Dorothy who gets blown away by a large twister, into a far land named Oz. Dorothy in short learns to appreciate her home and makes brand-new friends while on her expedition back home. Brandi Bell, who portrayed Dorothy, is an terrible actress and singer. She brought a lot to the prorogue as far as her voice and acting skills find that Brandi was very pore passim the act upon and knew her lines with a cast of a dime. My favorite explode of brandies work is basically throughout the play when she stops and notices quite a little who need help and offers to chair them to the wiz to get their wish. frankly I dont think there was anything wrongfulness with Brandis performance because she stood out the nearly to me; she was focused, cheated out and most significantly loud and lively with her actors line. not everyone in the cast was diligent or loud with their words because I had trouble auditory sense a few people. pull down though I was told by performers there were a lot of mess ups the day I came I didnt hold any of them which is a exhaustively thing.\nRoyal Moon, who was part of the ensemble as a terpsichorean throughout the head did excellent. She has genuinely inspired me to audition for coterminous years musical comedy because she made it look so fun and I matt-up she brought a burst of muscle on the stage. Royel knew exactly what she was doing the unhurt time and looked same she had rehearsed for hours. I could easily tell she was focused and I feel her hours of prep gave her a boost of confidence. I loved Royels performance and I cant wait to watch her play a lead use one day.\nMy favorite get up in the whole show was the lions costume played by--. The silhouette was loose and baggy in the middle and leg which I think gave it a to a greater extent comfy look, which lions have. I like how the costume d esigner tangled brown fabrics with red, but I feel if the costume designe...
